Paw & Present (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a simple gift-guide website, and we don’t sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Analytics data.We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful — things like page views, approximate location, device type, and how you arrived. This is aggregated and used to improve the site.
• Contact form. If you message us, we receive the name, email, and message you submit, so we can reply. We use it only to respond to you.
• Affiliate cookies. When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer may set a cookie so any resulting purchase is credited to us. That cookie is set and controlled by the retailer, under their privacy policy, not ours.

How we use it

To operate and improve the site, respond to your messages, and earn the affiliate commissions that fund the site (see our affiliate disclosure). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Cookies and analytics choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out tools. Blocking cookies won’t stop you using the site; it may affect whether a purchase is credited to us, which only affects our commission, never your price.

Third parties

We rely on a few standard service providers: Google Analytics for measurement, our hosting provider to serve the site, and retailers such as Amazon for the products we link to. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we hold very little — essentially only what you send via the contact form — you can exercise these simply by emailing us.

Children

This site is intended for adults shopping for gifts and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
